The Arabic Language, Qur'an & Islamic Studies Program is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the Arabic language, proper Qur'an recitation, and essential Islamic knowledge. Through engaging, age-appropriate lessons, students will develop practical language skills, strengthen their connection with the Qur'an, and cultivate Islamic values that guide their daily lives. What Students Will Learn : Arabic Language Recognize and write the Arabic alphabet with correct letter formation. Read Arabic words, sentences, and short passages with confidence. Build essential vocabulary for everyday communication. Practice basic Arabic conversations, greetings, introductions, and common expressions. Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through interactive activities. Qur'an Reading (Tajweed) Learn to read the Qur'an accurately and fluently. Master the fundamental rules of Tajweed for proper pronunciation. Improve letter articulation (Makharij) and correct recitation. Increase confidence in reading Surahs with clarity and accuracy. Develop a lifelong habit of beautiful and respectful Qur'an recitation. Islamic Studies Understand the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Articles of Faith (Iman). Learn the lives and examples of the Prophets and key Islamic teachings. Study essential daily duas and acts of worship. Practice Islamic values such as honesty, kindness, patience, gratitude, respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, and compassion. Learn proper Islamic etiquette (Adab) in everyday situations, including: Greeting others with Salam Eating and drinking manners Sleeping etiquette Entering and leaving the home Respecting parents, teachers, and elders Good behavior in school, at home, and in the community
