Students will explore civilizations and societies from Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome to medieval kingdoms, global exploration, revolutions, industrialization, and major developments of the modern world. Lessons use stories, maps, historical mysteries, visual sources, and discussion to make history memorable and meaningful. Students will also compare civilizations and discover how geography, culture, government, religion, economics, and technology influenced societies throughout history.
