Javohirjon U.
About
Hello! My name is Javohir, and I am a Candidate Master with a 2200 ELO rating. As a university economics student who has spent years competing in tournaments and winning regional championships, I have learned firsthand how chess builds incredible discipline, time management, and critical thinking. My goal as a tutor is to share those exact life skills with your child. In my lessons, which run from 1 to 2 hours depending on the topic, I focus heavily on creating a warm, patient, and friendly environment where students aged 7 to 18 feel confident expressing themselves. Whether we are working individually or in a group, I track each student’s progress and personal traits carefully to customize the material just for them. Together, we will improve their imagination and strategic planning, fully preparing them for competitive tournaments while ensuring they genuinely enjoy the process of learning and growing.
Experience
As a titled Candidate Master holding a professional 2100+ ELO rating, chess has been a central pillar of my life for years. My philosophy is built on the belief that chess is not just a game of capturing pieces, but a powerful tool for shaping a child's mind. Through the board, I teach my students life-defining soft skills: deep patience, logical reasoning under pressure, emotional resilience after a loss, and the ability to think three steps ahead. My goal is to build not just strong players, but sharp, confident, and disciplined thinkers who can apply these problem-solving skills to their academic and personal lives.
