About
Hello, parents! I’m an English teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education (major in English) and a TEFL certificate. I have more than three years of experience teaching online, working with children, teens, and adults from different countries, including China and Turkey. Young learners are my favorite, and I love helping them grow. My teaching philosophy: Every child learns differently, so I start by getting to know your child’s level and goals, then plan each lesson around them. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and not afraid to make mistakes. What makes my lessons unique: A short, fun warm-up to help your child settle in and get comfortable. Interactive activities, games, and visuals that keep kids engaged. Lots of speaking practice, so your child uses English, not just hears it. Clear, kind feedback, so your child knows exactly how to improve. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a shy student say their first full sentence with a big smile. I can’t wait to help your child feel confident speaking English!
Experience
I am an English teacher with a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in English and a TEFL certificate. I have more than three years of experience teaching English online to children, teens, and adults from different countries, including China and Turkey. My strongest area is working with elementary-age learners, and I enjoy helping them build confidence in a new language. Teaching Philosophy I am a student-centered teacher. Every child has a different level, pace, and goal, so I plan each lesson around the individual learner rather than a one-size-fits-all script. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and free to make mistakes. Confidence comes first, and fluency follows. Methodology Needs assessment: I begin by understanding your child’s current level and goals. Warm-up: Each class opens with a short, friendly activity that helps your child relax and get ready to speak. Interactive lessons: I use games, visuals, and hands-on activities to keep young learners engaged and make new vocabulary and grammar memorable. Speaking practice: Students speak throughout the lesson, not just at the end, so English becomes a tool they use, not just something they study. Constructive feedback: I give clear, positive guidance so your child knows what they did well and exactly how to improve. Expertise TEFL-certified, with a degree in secondary education (English) 3+ years of online teaching experience across age groups and cultures Experience on platforms including Scart Akademi and PalFish Skilled at supporting shy or hesitant learners to speak with confidence My goal is for every student to leave class feeling proud of what they can say. I look forward to partnering with you in your child’s English journey.
