About
With six years of teaching experience, I believe that every student has unique strengths, learning styles, and potential. My role as a teacher is to understand each student's needs and create lessons that help them build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy learning. Every child learns at a different pace, so I adapt my teaching methods to ensure they receive the support they need while encouraging them to become independent learners. During my time with Awesome Ars Academia, I dedicated myself not only to teaching but also to continuously improving my own knowledge and skills. I believe that learning never stops, especially in the field of technology and programming. By staying updated with new programming languages, tools, and teaching strategies, I can provide students with relevant and engaging lessons that prepare them for the future. My teaching philosophy is centered on understanding rather than memorization. In programming classes, I encourage students to think critically, solve problems independently, and explore different ways to build solutions. Instead of simply copying code, students learn the logic behind programming so they can confidently create their own projects and troubleshoot challenges on their own. Parents can expect lessons that are interactive, structured, and project-based. Students will have plenty of opportunities to practice through hands-on activities that strengthen creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As they progress, they will build practical coding experience while developing confidence in their abilities. What makes my lessons unique is my commitment to helping every student grow. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering new ideas. My goal is not only to teach programming but also to help students develop critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and a lifelong love for learning—skills that will benefit them both in school and in their future careers.
Experience
Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with different educational companies, including Awesome Ars Academia, Bahay Turo, and Code Fluent Academy, where I continuously developed my programming knowledge, teaching strategies, and experience in technology education. I have taught a wide range of coding courses, including Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Django, React, and Node.js), as well as game development courses using Scratch, Minecraft Python, Minecraft JavaScript, and Unity. Teaching students with different ages and skill levels has helped me understand that every learner has their own pace, interests, and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on learning through practice, creativity, and problem-solving. I believe that coding is not only about writing programs but also about developing logical thinking, perseverance, and the ability to create solutions. In my lessons, I encourage students to explore ideas, experiment with projects, and understand the concepts behind the code instead of simply memorizing instructions. Aside from teaching, I have also been involved in creating lesson materials, designing activities, and preparing assessments to monitor student progress. These experiences have helped me develop a stronger understanding of how to structure lessons effectively and provide personalized support based on each student's strengths and areas for improvement. Over the years, I have gained confidence, deeper knowledge, and valuable experience in guiding students through their coding journey. I aim to share not only technical skills but also the mindset needed to become a successful programmer—curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and the confidence to solve challenges independently. My goal is to help students build strong foundations in technology while creating a fun, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where they can discover their potential and become future-ready digital creators.
