LanguageLeap ELA: SAT Reading & Writing Preparation for High School Students

This course is designed to help high school students prepare for the SAT Reading and Writing section by developing the skills needed to understand, analyze, and revise short passages. Students will practice identifying central ideas and details, making inferences, using textual and quantitative evidence, understanding words in context, analyzing text structure and purpose, connecting ideas across texts, and improving the organization and effectiveness of written expression. The course also provides focused practice in Standard English conventions, including sentence structure, grammar, usage, and punctuation. Through guided instruction, test-style questions, strategy practice, and personalized feedback, students will learn how to approach different question types, make informed answer choices, and manage their time more effectively. The goal is to strengthen both SAT-specific skills and the reading and writing abilities students need for academic success.
