About

I bring hands-on cybersecurity experience to every lesson — including real-world penetration testing, 274 completed labs across the PortSwigger Web Security Academy, and Palo Alto Networks and Cisco certifications. But teaching cybersecurity to kids isn't about credentials — it's about how you explain it. My teaching philosophy centers on the Socratic method—using guided questions to lead students toward discovering concepts for themselves. In cybersecurity, tools and technologies change constantly, but critical and logical thinking is forever. Whether a student goes on to become a security engineer, a doctor, or an artist, learning how to analyze a problem and think logically is a superpower that transfers to everything they do. When teaching ages 6-16, I don't give away the answers; I prompt them to find them. Instead of lecturing on password security, I ask, "If a stranger knows your dog's name, how easy would it be to guess your house key code?" By posing relatable, age-appropriate questions, I help students break down complex concepts—like firewalls, phishing, or encryption—into logical puzzles. This interactive, inquiry-based approach turns passive listeners into active "digital detectives." What makes me a great teacher is my ability to challenge a 6-year-old and a 16-year-old with equal enthusiasm, prompting them to use their own brains to solve problems. My goal isn't just to teach cybersecurity safety; it's to build confident, logical thinkers who question, analyze, and safely navigate the modern world
